Profile
The resort of Cavalese sits at one end of the Fiemme valley. The ski areas are accessed by cable-car from the village, but the whole valley does have a good record for snow throughout the season in one or other of the resort areas within it, with most of the skiing above the tree-line and the orientation of the runs ensures good conditions.
Mountain Information
From the town a gondola takes you from the town to to the bottom of the slopes where a cable car or chair take you on to the slopes. Limited pistes, the longest 6kms. Best suited to the intermediate and beginner, snow reliability can be a problem with the slopes being quite low

There are plenty choices for dining when you come off the slopes. There is a cinema, open air swimming pool, plenty of shops and an ice rink, along with the many bars.
