Off Piste
Why do you need cover for off piste?
There are many reasons for needing cover for off piste skiing and snowboarding. Many insurers will not offer off piste cover as standard on their ski policies. Due to the nature of back country or off piste conditions, some countries are very keen to ensure that you do not stray from their designated areas due to conservation issues.
Check first before you intend to venture away from the piste areas. You should always insure that your cover includes repatriation. The following would be included with a good off piste policy and we will be happy to quote for you;
- Transportation to hospital following on from search and recovery.
- Costs incurred through operations. Medicine cover and wheel chairs etc.
- Repatriation
- Third party liability
- Criminal and civil proceedings
- Compensation for lift passes and ski guides as well as missed days
- Broken or lost winter sports equipment
Our insurance comes with off piste as standard and allows you access to all of the above as standard so get a quote now and make sure you are covered.
